[How-To] Disable Programs Run at Startup without having any Software
Every time you start computer, the program like Yahoo Messenger, Outlook and many more start in a flash resulting in the reduction of the Start up time taken by your computer. First of all Goto Start > Run and type "regedit"

But if you don't want to install yet another software, here is a simple tutorial on how to disable these unwanted startup programs without necessity of any software. Here is a step-by-step tutorial.
First of all Goto Start > Run and type "regedit"
Now, navigate to the following path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Run > Start > Programs > Startup Folder
After that, you would see the list of the programs in the right panel.
Just delete the unwanted programs that you don't want to run at Startup and Restart the PC to have effect of the changes.
Alternate Method
Here is a alternate method for the people who have a lower Geek level.
First of all open "Start" and type "System Configuration"
Then click on "System Configuration" and navigate to "StartUp" tab.
Then, uncheck the programs that you don't want to run. And then click "Apply"
In the next window, click on "Restart"
After restarting the PC, your changes should take effect.
