Yet another great feature from the search giant Google to make your search experience even better. And this time it's your handwriting that will search the web from your touchscreen Smartphone.
You can see it working live in the video above.
Handwritten is not enabled by default on your device. You need to enable it manually. So here are the steps that are fairly easy to follow.
1. Go to Google.com from your mobile browser
2. Click on "Settings" at the bottom of the page.
3. Find and Enable Handwrite in settings.
4. Click on "Save" and reload google.com
It'll prompt a message that you can now type. After this just type your desired search queries and Google will identify it instantly.
After enabling Handwrite, you'll see an icon at the bottom of your page. Just tap to enable/disable it.
The first thing you'll notice trying it out is that it's really not for writing full words so much as a few letters at a time, or just getting started with your query. Google's autocomplete is good enough that you'll have a viable search in no time.
